What To Expect

You might never have visited church before – that’s ok! We’d love for you to join us. We understand that trying anything new can be a little unsettling experience. So here’s what you can expect if you visit one of our services:

  • We’ll welcome you when you come in the building.
  • There will be a time of singing – usually 2-3 songs (3-4 minutes each) throughout the service. You’re welcome to sing along, or just listen in.
  • There will be a time of prayer (again, you can just listen in as we pray). • There will be an update with church news and upcoming events.
  • A couple of passages from the Bible will be read.
  • The pastor will speak on a text from the Bible. We aim for each service to finish in no more than 90 minutes.
  • After the service will be an opportunity to meet others.

We’d love to see you at church this weekend.

The Equipping Hour” – 10:00 is a time of specialized study, in which we teach the Word of God on various subjects revolving around church life, doctrine and personal walk with God.  This class is often taught by one of our men in the church. Sometimes this may allow for open discussion, and at other times it will be more of a teaching or preaching format.

Sunday Morning Worship – 11:00 This is the main service of the day, which consists of: praise and worship, testimonies, the public reading of Scripture and then expository preaching that centers on Jesus Christ. Our services usually last approximately 90 minutes. The service begins with announcements and a welcome from the pastor. This is usually followed by worship through song, prayer, and giving as we prepare our hearts and minds for listening to a sermon from the Scriptures.

Sunday Afternoon Service – 5:00 PM This service often consists of praise and worship to Christ, prayer, testimonies and expository preaching and/or teaching from the Bible.
