What To Expect

About Our Services

The Equipping Hour” at 10 am is a time of specialized study in which we teach the Word of God on various subjects revolving around church life, doctrine and personal walk with God.

We gather together on Sunday’s 11am & 6pm and we believe that you will find that our services exhibit a respectful joyfulness and bold humility, reflecting a confidence in the authority of the Scriptures as we declare the Gospel of God’s omnipotent and free grace.

As our services begin we sing several songs, offer prayers of praise and confession to God, give of our financial gifts and offerings.

The music we sing is a blend of old and new. We love the doctrinally rich hymns of the earlier centuries and recently written songs that are in accordance with the teachings of the Scriptures. We have a strong preference toward congregational singing, which emphasizes the gathered body singing praise to God with one voice.

The public reading of the Scriptures. We believe that we reverence God by reverencing His Word. Therefore we give a place of prominence in our worship services to the Scriptures.

The preaching and teaching of the Scriptures is expositional in nature, meaning that it seeks to declare the point of a particular Biblical passage. Sermons usually last between 35-45 minutes in length and are gospel-driven.

At the close of the service we often sing a hymn that encapsulates the theme of the sermon. Our entire service is usually about one hour and fifteen minutes in length.
